......since nobody wants to view my topic under l/r question :( . i have read here before, not too long ago, that there is an additive that you can add to the water (i think it began with a "K") to make your l/r grow purple corraline on it. what is this stuff and how well does it work?

just suppliment with calcium or kalkwasser, but you need a good calcium level before supplimenting with either, these are jsut for maintenance
a good calcium of 350 or higher is needed for lr and coraline growth, for a reef, you need @450(a minimum of 400)
