just flourescent lighting?
Tanks do not come with lighting and if your going to buy it . You might as well go for at least t-5. Its not that much more and saves you buying lighting twice .
Sorry I know you wanted to hear how cheap a 75 would be to set up but thats just not the case . SW is a hobby that takes more than a few bucks here and there to get it done right . Scrimping by does nothing .

you could do just flourescent lighting if you are not gonna do any corals
This is true if you don't want to enjoy the full visual potential of your fish.
you don't go to look at fine art with a flashlight do you ?

I spent $150 on the guy because i upgraded from a 10g like a month ago... and he cost $40... Im only 13... but i can work for money to upgrade... And actually, i dont know if its amonia, thats just my dads guess... I think it may well be that he overate last night. 2 big pieces of salad shrimp and a couple pieces of freeze dried krill... didnt leave a bit uneaten... Today, not eating at all...
LISTEN, you are over feeding him! You need to understand that your not only tiny but new tank can't keep up with the huge bio load your inflicting on it, and just because he's eating again doesn't neccessarily mean that your in the clear. Here's a suggestion... add some LR, substrate, bioballs, or filter media from your parents' already established tanks to help with the bio load. It's the very least you can do for your poor fish. We really are looking out for the well being of your fish so again please just listen. Good luck kid

No!!!!!!! Have you seen the stocklist for "his dad's 46gal"?? That tank probably needs all the help it can get too.
