does anybody have one of these guys? i would really like some pics of one cause i think they are the most beautiful, sub $100 wrasses you could get. i really want to add one of these guys to my 36 reef tank later on. post pics, tell how you like yours, anything...thanks.

OMG they are beautiful....I HAD one....they are jumpers...beware if you get one

awe sorry yours jumped :( ...but yeah i think they are one of the most amazing fish you could lay eyes on. i am getting a netting top for my tank built soon. for the time you had yours how did you like it? and if you dont mind me asking...how much did it cost?

It was $45...I got it from my NOT SO LFS in Texas....OH YEAH it was beautiful.....I would love another, but I only have egg crate, and I am not doing netting right now

lazy I guess...LOL...I actually bought the pond netting...just have not decided what to do yet.....I can put it over the eggcrate, and have less light...or make the frames for the netting....like I said....lazy..lol

im lazy about mine too...i bought the netting...but the real challenge is making a frame for my bowfront tank...ughhhh lol

I've got one, and I think he's fantastic. As stated above, however, they're jumpers....I have netting over my tank and he's hit it once. I'd definitely recommend it if your top is properly covered.

Seems like this oughta be in the fish section - had both McCosker's and the Yellowfin flasher - be careful. Most Pet Stores, fail to properly distinguish between the different flasher wrasses. Fortunately, all have similar requirements, and unfortunately (as stated), all are jumpers. They require regular feeds of meaty foods, as they are a carnivore - and if you have a pod population in your tank, they will quickly decimate it.
