my mom is making us spray the house for bugs before summer, so none come in i guess??, well we have to stay out of the house for 4 hours, i would assume that means its toxic to my fishies too. would it be ok to put plastic wrap over the tank and seal it off with tape (would they survive) or should i attempt to transport them somehow?

i have done this also. I put a large piece of plastic over the tank, leaving it really loose for air and then tape around the bottom so the chemical don't get in. Transporting them would probably just cause undo stress, and be a pain. (I use heavy plastic 'tarps' you can get at walmart.

Definitely seal it up tight ..... cover everything.

yea transporting would just cause more problems......just seal it up! sealing it up for 4 hours will not really hurt it, i would think!
