medicine question for tang

I have the thread with the yellow tang with the bacterial infection. i got the medicine but its a little diff.
mardel maracyn-oxy this is what i got.
is this pretty close or the same to Maracyn Two for Saltwater?

No, its not the same. Are you sure that is all the ingredients?? You can use it however, until you can get Maracyn Two. If the LFS doesn't have it, online stores will.

Did they have Maracyn Two for Freshwater fish at the store? Its the same antibiotic, but less potent?
How bad is the situation with the tank? Where is your other topic? Do you have pictures?

so far no luck with the maracyn two. i have my qt tank up and running did a water test.
temp 81
salinity 1.022
ph 8.3
nitrite 0 ppm
nitrate 0 ppm
ammonia 0 ppm
alk 1.6.
tang is still going in the big tank. but my clown died a day ago he just slowly sat on the bottom the tang was right next to him i think they were buddies.
heres a pic of the best i could get for now hes quick
heres a pic of my tang hes a little less red now getting his yellow back but still doesnt look good.
