Medium flow for corals???

What exactly do "they" mean when they state that a coral requires medium water flow? I have a torch coral that sways pretty calmly for a moment or two and then sway pretty forcefully on and off. Is this too much flow for it?

80% of the potential placements are going to get medium water flow.
yer torches are fine. although, me personally, i prefer to give my torches a medium-high flow.

What do you consider high flow? Blowing over tentacles?
