yes they are yellow polyps
but they arent melting

How old is your tank, what lights are you running, what are your water readings??
Bubble wands are a no no in SW tanks.
Kinda looks like it is detaching because its not happy.

55g tank is 2 months old
t6 lighting
im taking the tests right now

when i woke up it was at 86 - 90 degrees

Thats probable it. All those bubbles aren't good for your fish. no one uses them in sw.
not sure what T6's are. are they like t5's or regular fluorescents

temperatures back down
looks like almost normal now(not so saggy)
ill need to take them out then

I can see from the picks you have some sort of bubbler as someone else who was very observant pointed out..this could be the cause, but more so could be the high phosphates in your tank!! that brown slime algea you have is due to the bubbler, and lighting.
There are alot of issues that need to be addressed.

not quite. the T # refers to the size of the bulb, so they are one size larger than T-5s. are they NO, HO, VHO ?
unfortunately they are NOT t5s and they are not adept at keeping reef inhabitants alive. they are not individually reflected bulbs , so this lack of proper light is going to cause problems for your corals.
