metal halide adjustment

i have two 36" 2x96 power compacts and two 60 50 std flourescents, how long should i leave my MH light on for my lfs said 6 hour. how much should i add on each day

do about 2 hours a day then add 1 hour a week just to be safe

i agree and then max for 8 to 10 hours
