metal halide bulb flickers at startup

just recently my 70w mh bulb for my 10g has started to flicker. noticed it yesterday again today, but it does it for a couple of seconds then stops.
i've noticed that before yesterday the light used to be brighter, like a 10k but doesnt seem as bright now.. would that be because it's burning in?

Mine always flicker a little at start up.....completely normal.
