Metal Halide over Center Brace

I recently came across someone selling this fixture for my 50 gal, 36 in tank for $260.00...
36 inch Current USA Outer Orbit
1x150W 10K HQI-MH w/ 2x96W
Dual Actinic & 4 Lunar Lights
http****
The top of my tank has a center brace in the opening which I would assume will block the MH light. Would this affect the lighting enough for me to skip this deal?
Thanks for all your help

if the brace is black plastic, it will cast a shadow right down the middle
I have the shadow on mine, all of my smaller fish hide in it every morning when the light comes on.
But i dont think it would effect the lighting enough to cause a problem.
I work my corals around it. And with the dual actinics, i really dont think you will notice it nearly as much as mine! I only have 1 250w 14k MH, with no actinics.

Is the brace acrylic or standard black plastic?
It's an acrylic brace.

Mine is acrylic so I shouldnt have the shadow effect. Think I will go with this light, thanks for all your help.
