i need to downgrade lighting, was originally going to go SPS and LPS but after i started factoring costs, and the fact i am moving, i decided to wait, so i want to sell this off and buy some PC's
might be interested in selling a brand new 48" T-5 2x54 watt with individual reflectors retro with four sockets, electronic ballast, with true actinic bulbs (blue, not just blue coated glass, they're real) will send all wiring for custom application. these are not homemade set ups, these are real manufactured items. yep
250 watt solo ballast< very nice cool and energy effeciant ballast. zero noise
true bat wing reflector with spacers
250 watt radium bulb about 1-1/2 months old
ceramic mogal base
all wired up and ready to plug and play
i run 3 of them right now on my tank
i would just remove the middle one and put up your 400 and ship you the 250

well considering that at most locations sell the 400 and 250 radium bulbs for the same price and both kits are retros I dont think I would offer much cash. i am not fond of the closed in ballast like you have but i want a bit more light so i would just deal with it or remove the case
but since your bulb is a bit newer. i would give 25 bucks plus arrange shipping for both items.

PS: how about the ballast. some have a very annoying hum to them. mine are very silent

and yet still nothing lol.. listen i paid $115.00 plus shipping which i think was $21.95 because they are 48", not because of the weight its not that much.. the bulbs i bought seperately because the bulbs that could come with them were junk so i bought much better bulbs 2x$18 (wholesale)
so if i could get just the cost of the item id be happy, i dunno if you want true blue actinic bulbs, so you can just have them. figure out what shipping would be and lets work a deal...

yeah, they're for a fuge so would probably swap at least one out for a GE Daylight.. but, wouldn't mind seeing all blue just for kicks. heh. lemme know what shipping to 27610 is and we can work it out :)
odd you're not getting my mail... I'll try from a different account, maybe something is going on with my work server.

Ups is about $15.00 ground guaranteed by oct. 25th and $25.00 3 day select
USPS priority will probably be very close to UPS ground..

sounds good to me 50266 the ballast doesnt get any louder than a computer fan. very nice ballast.

i was thinking i can send the 25 bucks via paypal and then arrange for DHL to pick up the item from you. i would then over night you my light. you get you lesser lighting and cash within a day or so and i get the little bit more light i was wanting. everyones happy :jumping: :cheer:
