How long do bulbs last?
So far I have had 6500 bulbs with 2 actinics but think I will try the 10000. What is the best brand and where is it cheapest?

Most recommendations that I have come across is to replace your MH bulbs every 6-8 months.

Try looking at Champion lighting.They usually have good prices,and sales on bulbs.I got my 10k blulines from them for about 70bucks each.

I follow the recommendation of replacing every 1 - 1 1/2 years. They continue to put out light, but at 30% lumens while using the same amount of electricity as new.
