Saying Judas Priest isn't metal is just plain silly. There are definitley some issues in that band but cmon. Listen to "Rapid Fire" from British Steel some time and then call it. Seeing DRI mentioned is pretty cool. I'm a

fan from way back too. The second half of the 80's for me was all about bands like Bad Brains, Agnostic Front, Youth Of Today, Cro-Mags, C.O.C., and bands like em. I listen to it all anymore but the nu-metal stuff just doesn't grab me. NYHC bands have been doing this stuff for almost 20 years but just haven't gotten the attention. You like hiphop influenced HC/metal? Check out Leeway from NYC. "Born To Expire" and "Desperate Measures" are killer records if you can find them. You like the low tuned grinding stuff check out Scissorfight from New Hampshire. I recommend just about anything by them but "Balls Deep" is a killer. If you like Fear Factory go to the source and listen to some Godflesh from the UK "Selfless" is monster. And by the way listen to the Scorpions first album "Lonesome Crow" while you're at it. God I love music!
