What is the best method of putting new arrival fish into a quarintine hyposalinity tank? The qt tank is my 20 gallons. Is drip method work, temp acclimating only, or just toss the fish in without acclimating at all? I have upgrade to 100 gallons.

you cant drip acclimate in just a few hours.do a water change to the qt bringing the salinity up to 1.022-1.024
then drip acclimate the fish give it a day and lower the salinity through small water changes over the next 48 hours untill iys 1.008-1.009

+1
Drip acclimate to the proper salinity first and then bring it down over the course of two days.

Just remember every time you add a fish to an existing HT undergoing hypo that already has fish you have to start your time line for treatment at zero again
