You don't need to get off the web. Virtually every lfs can get them. They sell them for $3. They are Mexican Trochus snails. They will definately put a hurt on your algae situation. Don't get too many though or they will starve. Get a few at a time until you've reached a balance between the algae problem and keeping the snails fed. I personally have several different types of snails (a few of each) because of the diversity. Different types ans sizes of snails can feed in different crevices and areas of the tank, mkaing them more efficient.
