Mexican Turbo Snails

Hey all, I have a question in regards to Mexican Turbo snails. I have two tanks, one if a reef tank and the other is strictly a fish tank. Noticed a few days ago that my Mexican Turbo snails, which I have had for at least eight months now, are all going either dormant or dying. This is occurring in both tanks. Don't seem to have any problems going on with anything else and I check my tanks on a regular schedule. This also does not seem to be affecting my regular Turbo snails. Is this normal? Does anybody have an idea as to what is happening? Thanks Handyman

hmmm, thats a good temp for that snail. YOu salinity seems fine. But is it constantly changing? i.e. when your water evaporates do you just dump in some fresh water all at once?

are the regular turbos "outgrazing" the mexican turbos? maybe they starved to death. have you ever observed any damage to their shells, presumably from a predatory tank mate?

They are definitely the Mexican turbos; I do have some regular turbos and am not seeing any problems with them. No visible damage to the shells that I can see, they also are not getting "picked on" by any thing else in the tank. Very strange situation... Thanks for all the help
