MH bulb height ?

after 8 years i m finally upgrading from pcs to mh, what is the optimal height of the bulb to the water?

No real optimal height... but most folks (including me) use about 8-10 inches.

Agree with SCSInet, but if you talk to some manufacturers they recommend 12" and I think most of that is for safety reasons.....I've usually run mine at 10", but like SCSInet stated no real optimal height....I think alot has to do with the quality of reflector your using as well.

i just bought a dual 175 watt mogul set up. now i need bulbs and reflectors. i plan on using 2 96 watt 03 actinic pc also

would a 10" height with parabolic reflectors suffice?
