you should have changed you bulbs twice already.change them every 6 months.the 10k are a yellow tint color but it could even be yellower becuase of how long you havnt changed them.do not go with a bulb that cheap probably not quality.if you want a 20k go for an xm 20k bulb but that could be to blue so i would just go 14k.also dont touch the bulbs ever.the oils on your hands can ruin them

I agree with the post above. Do not buy the Z Brand bulbs. Spend more money and get somthing that will give you good growth and color. If you buy a high quality bulb they can last you close to a year. The XM 20K is a good choice if you are going for a bluer look. They are reasonably priced as well.

we recently had a speaker at one of my reef club meetings (sanjay joshi) and he said that the best bang for the buck is iwasaki bulbs as far as bieng close to the color temp spectrum. and you dont have to change your bulbs every 6 months, they might loose blue spectrum but the corals dont care, if you find your light is getting yellow suppliment with atinic. but even if the blue spectrum fades out the par remains almost the same.

i know i should change them one at a time but how long do i wait to change the second one and i guess when i change each one do i start out at a lower time period too.
