MH Halides and Coral

I have a 46 gallon bowfront tank with MH lighting. I have an Aqualight MH fixture with 2 150 watt 20k bulbs in it. I'm running it over an open tank because of heating issues. Do you think this would be enough light for most corals, or just low/medium light corals. I would like to keep some sps if possible, and definitely a clam. Would this be enough light to keep these? Thanks so much!!!

you can house all coral, anemone, clam.......anything especially if you have other lites running with the halides....

Thanks! Can't wait!!! I was originally just going to go with t-5s, but I think the MHs will pay off in the long run.

No, sorry. I don't have any pics now because I just have a FO. Will try to post some pics once I get my LR and some LS in.

I have the same tank as you and I have only one 150K Halide and my corals are doing great, you have more than enough light for anything you want.
Fill it up and post pictures.

Perfect. I know! I can't wait to get started, but right now I'm in Key Largo, FL diving
As soon as I get back, I will get started hopefully very quickly...perhaps slower if my parents decide not to fund as much as promised... Just one question about the MHs that I have. The light just seems to go everywhere like on the walls, and over the room. Is this normal or bad?
