Mh lighting question

hey i was wondring if a 70 wat mh would be sufficent lighting to house all corals and mabey a little clam for a 24 gallon
please help! :help: :help: :help:

I would say its not enough. Ive personally never seen MH lighting for aquariums under 150 watts. IMO i would go with 1 150w. Then youll be able to house anything in a 24 gallon.

I have a JBJ 24 G and I just got my 150W MH lights and am loving them!!!! I thik that the 70 would be inefficent...... at best.... I would reccomend the 150W set up!!!

IceCap and Aqua Medic ( maybe others too ) makes 70 watt MH fixtures and the bulbs are available up to 20K.
Thats only 2.9 watts per gallon and will be good for some corals and clams but not the real light hungry ones.
