good evening everyone-
i just had a quick ? for thoughs mh pro's out there , what is the best mh lighting system i can buy

The answers you will get are strictly a matter of opinion, but I will give mine.
I don't know the dimentions of your tank but 24 inches deep or less, a 250 watt will do. One bulb for each 2 feet of tank length.
If your tank is deeper than 24 inches and you want to keep clams or other corals near the bottum then a 400 watt will do. The downside of a 400 watt bulb is the heat it produces. If chillers were cheap we'd all have 400 watt bulbs.
Of course for color you will want the halides to be supplemented with a couple of VHO actinics.
This is assuming you want to keep various corals (including hard ones).
