hey everyone
im upgrading my light to a 250w mh. i will be running it with 2 65w pc one actinic and the other 10k. my light schedule will look like this:10 am actinic on, 12pm 10k on, 2pm mh 0n, 6 pm mh off, 8pm 10k off, 10 actinic off. does this sound good?
now back to the suject. everthing is gonna go under a diy canopy that i almost finish building. i want to know what position to face the mh. the long way from left to right or in the center from back to front? this is going on a 29g so which way will it light it better? also should i put something separating the reflector from the wood? i was just wondering if mh cand get hot enough to burn the wood.
ok last question. i estimated that the mh will be about 7" from the water. is this a good hight? i am installing 2 fans to cool thing of.
