MH users: bulbs, ballast and maybe a pic

I'll bite. My pics are from only one type of bulb and ballast combination(I have always used 14K bulbs from the start, just up'd them from 175 to 250 last spring). Anyway, I use IceCap 250wt ballasts along with IceCap 14K bulbs, I do use two T5 actinic bulbs too, they don't really change the MH color too much, sorry if they aren't allowed in your survey.

Thank you. Your is coming along nicely. It is a shame that your old tank broke, that was a very nice looking tank, if I remember correctly. I think I may try 20K Radiums or 12K Reeflux next time I get new bulbs, which is right around the corner I guess. Have a good day.

Don't know if you can actually see the color difference. I am running 3 175w MH, ballasts are the core and cap type, no case. 2 outside bulbs are 10k and the middle is 14k, planning on getting 2 more 14k for the others as the color is just much better. Bulbs are from Aqua McKeo.

first let me say that i purchased some of those aquarmckzo lamps and had them tested. they have very low PAR. they also shift color very quickly. they are worth about what you paid for them.

Ballast left and right side; dual PFO 400W M58 (I think that is the model)
Ballast center; Icecap 400W
Bulb in all single ended EVC 14k
So far I've tried
- AquaConnect 14k (only got 1 bulb, second kept breaking in shipping)
- Radium 20k (loved it, but now the lesser blue with EVC is way better)
I do have actinic support. T5 kit with Reef blue and Super Actinics.
