currently i have 6-96watt pc and im thinking of puting a mh on one side ihave a 180 gal 72*24*24 i would like to keep sps and clams should i get a 250watt or 400 watt and also 10000k or 20000k thank you

I feel like MH lighting is the very best and would recomend it to anyone.

opinions will vary but you only need a 250w as your tank is only 24" tall. That being said no reason not to go with the 400w. why only 1 MH as you need 3 to cover a 6' tank.

I think thats where the one ont he side thing comes in, ,as he may only intend to have high light corals on one part of his tank. Although I could be wrong. I am also trying to decide what 400 watt bulb to buy, 6,500k 10k, 15k I don't want a radium 20k as its too much blue and I alredy have 160 watts of actinic light from 4 NO tubes.

thats exactly what i want to do is put the sps one one side
the reason im worried about 400 watt is the temp i dont want to get a chiller
