just got my pfo ballast (250watt) with a iwasaki 250 6500k bulb, got everything hooked up, turn the ballast on, bulb turns on, i turn it off after 10 mins, now it wont come on.. this typical of mh ?

well i let it cool down some... tried again.. and it work... blinded myself twice already ahhaha... :)

PFO had a recall on their 250 W MH ballast
You may want to call them to see if you have a recall product.

umm when was this ? i just got the ballast straight from pfo yesterday... works like a charm once the bulb cools down some.. fires up everytime

Usually takes mine about 20 minutes to turn back on right after
it turns off, I was working in the tank the other night & it
turned off (timer) by the time it fired back up I had forgotten
what I was working on.:rolleyes:
I must be getting old.

well sure.. but i can do it myself... just gota get motivated and draw it up and get my but in gear to ass'y it

I know what you mean. I had piles of boxes with pieces/parts laying around for weeks. The "getting my butt in gear" was actually the hardest part :p
May your motiviation increase and your lamp always fire.
