Miami Marlins New Stadium Reef Tank

Anyone check out the start of Major League Baseball (Stateside) on ESPN last night?
The Miami Marlins have a new ball park and they have two 450 gallon fish tanks behind home plate.
What do you guys think?

They have it doubled up for protection. That would still scare the crap out of me. You would have to think that it is going to be tested at some point.

I thought that I read that it is glass but there are two panes an inch thick (Not 100% positive on that one, but too lazy to look it up). lol

I hope they don't get fried to death from South Florida heat..... even with the chiller, magnification of South Florida sun through glass is insane...

The new ball park has a retractable roof... Pretty sweet setup.
Although, I don't know what that thing is in center field. Only in Miami... I guess. LOL

well we will see if fickle fans of florida will actually go to a baseball game..we are the only team that wins the world series then sell off it's members to keep the team afloat... T_T
