On my 20long 2 weeks ago I had a terrible aiptasia plague break out.. tossed in probably the 2 most near death from starvation peppermint shirmp EVAR!!! no aiptasia to date... they worked REALLY fast, I haven't seen any aiptasia or majano anenomes in almost a week now.
Oh yeah wanna hear my acclimation technique? LOL..
netted them out of the bag, put them inside my hand.. lowered them in the water and let them swim away... DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!! I was in a rush.

On my 20long 2 weeks ago I had a terrible aiptasia plague break out.. tossed in probably the 2 most near death from starvation peppermint shirmp EVAR!!! no aiptasia to date... they worked REALLY fast, I haven't seen any aiptasia or majano anenomes in almost a week now.

To be honest I really only float bags, net and release for fish and most inverts unless they are shrimp that just molted, fish kept at a ridiculously low salinity i.e. 1.018 verus my 1.025, fish kept in terrible conditions and lucky to be alive, and STARFISH!!!!

Whats up guys...long time. My aiptasia problem has vanished. I finally got my CUC in...consists of 2 hermits, and like 10 snails...I forgot the names of them, 2 types. I also got a blue/green chromis (gf wanted it) and a stripeless percula (Doesn't let me put in name). I also got a cleaner shrimp but can't find him. Either he molted and is hiding or he was someone's dinner.
I also decided to check on the chaeto and it has doubled. I started cutting it in half and found like a 4 inch bristtle worm with babies.
Besides that, everything is good. Oh, I took out the hose that was feeding the hydor flo from my maxi-jet 1200 and put in the stock pump to the hydor flo. So I now have the maxi-jet 1200 to the Y splitter and the stock pump to the hydor flo. Better flo
