Congrats on getting the tank setup and I don't mean to hijack your thread but I had the same exact problem with Dr. F&S...

Tank three was shipped to me FREE overnight and boxed twice. Guess that's what it took for the tank to arrive in one piece. The packaging from the other two tanks were ridiculous!

YooOOooO!!!!!!! I know I've been lost. Been super busy with school. The tank looks to be running fine. I still have the stripeless percula, 6 line wrasse, and chromis. The pep shrimp is always hiding though. LOL. Like 1 month ago I saw a tiny purple sea urchin and now its huge. I have to take pics soon. I'll try to post them by this weekend. I took some tests tonight. Here are the results:
Salinity: 34, 1.0025
Ammonia: 0
High Range PH: 7.8
Nitrate: 80
Nitrite: 0
Calcium: 600
KH: 179
Phosphate: 0.5
Let me know what you guys think off those results....Thanks

cal really high! lol a good one is 450-500. try to get Phosphate 0.00. and trates! whats going on man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 80!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tell me thats wrong? have you done a water change?

I know the calcium is high...how should I bring it down? Same goes for the phosphate, nitrates??
I have done water changes. I'll post pics up soon. Still looks the same, haven't gotten any corals

awman! we got corals for you here for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! man just pass by or text me. and um for phosphate get phosguard. the chaeto should lower trates. and calcium are you dosing anything?

Right now I'm dropping in Kent Marine's Liquid Calcium: 1 cap, Strontium: 1 cap and Iodine: 1/2 cap. I'm doing this once a week. Should I keep on with it or what?

dont dose anything until you know your cal is good and phosphate and trates are at 0ppm. but what could have cause that big spike? so no dosing until everything is low.
