Micro Algae Help

My micro algae is turning purple at the top, any ideas? its getting plenty flow and I have an 11w light over it.

Is it in purple little hairy clumps?? I have that and was told it was a type of coraline algae.... guess its good. Hope thats what it is...

Is it on the sand bed?
Is it stringy?
Is it just on the rock and maybe a little on the glass?
Does it come and go with the lighting going on and off?

I forgot to mention its the micro algae in my back chamber, it's just turning people towards the top. I bought this from my LFS, they did not have chaeto so I went with this other stuff, he said it does the same thing as chaeto.
