Micro bubbles from skimmer

I need help with the micro bubbles produced by my skimmer. Set up my aquarium, 120 gal, swapped everything from my 55, everything is going good but the skimmer I got with everything is producing a lot of little bubbles, turn it down, not doing anything, even on the inside of the skimmer. How do I stop the bubbles from flowing back into the tank?

It would help to know what kind of skimmer you have...

an in sump skimmer needs to be placed at the correct height in the water, too deep it overflows, too shallow it will not deposit skim. look at the manufacturer recommendations.
