First can you tell us what type of skimmer you have, It would be great if you could post a picture. Sometimes as you know companies change the names of items in different areas. So it may be something we are familiar with, but just don't recognise the name. Either way we may be able to figure something out just by looking at what you have and how it is set up.

I know on my SeaClone 150 it has an air valve that you have to adjust in order to make that go away. Maybe your skimmer has the same type of thing. The other thing is do you use a water conditioner with a slime coat? That will cause some problems too with a skimmer.

I ended up putting my pump in a mesh bag and that cleared my bubble problem up

The biggest thing I am finding out about protein skimmers is you get what you pay for. I now know why people will spend $200+ on one. If I ever do upgrade I will be looking probably up in that price range if not higher.

Ok guys, I looked it up, it seems to be very simular to the coral life superskimmer. So does anyone have one of these, Did anyone have this problem, if so how have you fixed it.
Unfortantly My skimmers have been, ASM's. So not much help.

From what I can see from the picture yours works that same way mine does. On the airline there looks to be a valve. You have to read the book to what they recommend at first of how far to open it. Then after that you have to fine tune it to stop all the little bubbles. Like mine this is a very low quality protein skimmer and needs a lot of tweaking to make it work right. I think I finally got mine right.

Thanks yes i have tried to turn the valve and the bubbles and it makes a difference i will keep trying ...............Also the cup keeps filling with water quickly how do i know when it is working properly it should be foaming is that right ?...........Can someone tell me what it should be doing?? if i cant get it working they said they will take it back. Also what about those bags what you put in the top to take al the garbage out do they work just as well ? thanks.

try cutting the air valve all the way off, the cup should stop filling then turn very little, each turn very little till you get it right, should be foaming in top of water in tube prior to cup then into cup, water in cup is way too much open on valve.they all have to be tweaked that i have found

I hope you got your skimmer under control. I am wondering if it is new. Most times a new skimmer is out of control for the first few days to about a week, It needs time to get a slime build up inside of it. So keep on eye on it. Most importantly right after feedings. It will go crazy again for a little while.

I fought mine for about two weeks with that problem, so keep tweaking and stay cool
. Just keep watching it and slowly keep backing that air off and soon it will be right.
