Micro bubbles when MH's are on?

Why does this happen. All through the night and when the lights turn on in the morning, no bubbles. But when i come home for work their everywhere. I am 100% positive that there not coming from PHs or filter. They must be coming from something happening in the tank.
Any suggestions?

Your tank specs would help in answering this question...
Maybe a low WL in your fuge or sump causing a return pump to suck in air...??? :notsure:

ime the real real real fine bubbles are hard to get rid of. What size pump do you have? you may have to slow done the flow from the return and compensate with power heads.

algae,algae... How long do you keep your lights on during the day?? Had the same thing happen myself. I cut down on the lighting time durring the day and within a week or so problem solved. thats what I did and it worked for me. If you have'nt tried it yet give it a whirl,

i had the same problem. every night i would have bubble all over. i cut down the lighting time for about 1 week and everything cleared up and now i am pretty close to the same lighting cycle i had before. it's something easy to try.

i never heard of algea causing anything like that. What size pump do you have on the return? Are you sure your not seeing detritus suspended in the water column?

I have 3 PH's and a HOB filter. Thats all, nothing is spitting out bubbles. I stood home today and now (3pm) the bubbles are starting to form again. I have heard before that algae could be causing the bubbles.
Lights go on at 8 and of at 7.
I am 100% sure that its bubbles.

yea, starts on the back wall then under rocks, then in one of my ph sponges, and that just blows them around even more, especially when my cleaner shirmp jumps on the sponge. No bubbles at all this morning, and now there everywhere.
