micro bubbles

i have a 75 gal. tank w/ a 29 gal. sump. my skimmer is producing a lot of micro bubbles and i would like some info on stopping them from entering my dt. i do have some filter floss between the baffles i installed. that does work but some still pass through.

Can you show us some pics of your sump or give us a better description of it so we can tell you where the problem is?

i have my baffles 1.5 inches apart w/ the floss - the bottom between the two. i decided to use only two baffles due to the small size of my sump and i needed space for my protein skimmer. the first baffle is 10 inches high, and the second is about two inches off the bottom and one inch above the other baffle. sorry i have no pictures at this time i'll try to post some later. thanks for the reply!

Go to your LFS and get a sponge that will fit across your sump and place it under your last baffle or against it so that the water "must" go through the sponge. Bubbles will not go through the sponge.
