Micro Bubbles

Micro bubbles, I just cant figure this out I am getting a ton of micro bubbles coming out of the return on my euro reef rs series protein skimmer. i went to there site no real solutions. I have been playing with this all night no luck its been running for like 5 days still the same as when I turned it on. Here is some pics of the problem No sure if they will help...

Do you have a sponge around your overflow on the Euro reef? I have one right around the very top of it, so when the water overflow back into the sump it has to pass through it and pretty much disperses any bubbles. If you do not have a sponge you can pretty much pick one up at any LFS, they just need to be big enough to fit around the gray overflow tube. Hope this helps.

I do not have one there. do you mean the overflow where you open/close pipe. or where the return shoots the water out?

The actual skimmer overflow, were the water flows back into the sump from the Protein skimmer itself, its the 1" gray pipe that comes out of the side of the skimmer body ,it slides up and down to adjust how much you want to skim.
