Micro Bubbles

My skimmer has been sending tiny bubles into my tank. I think that I have found the source and will be able to eliminate them soon. In the meantime, will these cause problems? Should I kill the skimmer until I can eradicate the problem?
The tank is a 25g FOWLR.

That depends on what is in the tank and if the bubbles are settling on anything. Best to stop the bubbles. Try a sponge or a bubble trap. Better yet, if you know the source, take care of it and you won't have to worry about the rest.
Certain additives will cause an increase in micro-bubble production. I have a hang on and an in-sump skimmer. If I use one of the additives that cause the bubbles, I cut the bubble flow on the hang on until the in sump removes the additive. Then I reset it.
