midas blenny question please answer qick

Hi all i am going to be heading on out to the lfs in search of a midas blenny and i was wondering if he/she would be ok in my qt tank .. it isnt fancy just a few pieces of live rock for hiding no sand or substrate of any kind .. thanks all

it is a 10 gal tank (the qt that is)but when i went to the store they didnt have one .. they will be getting them on thursday.. would it be ok without any sand for a couple of weeks .. thanks

sand isnt essential to the fish's survival. we keep the tanks at work free of substrate. as long as there are plenty of hiding spaces and enough time with the lights off to sleep at night all will be fine. also, with the blenny, if he has something to perch on he will be happier.
