Midwest Road Trip

I have to head to Chicago for a conference next week and will be driving from Greenville, SC. It would be great to meet any of you along the way (and shop in your tank :) ). I'll be leaving Chicago on the evening of the 24th, staying in Indianapolis that night and then driving the rest of the way back on the 25th. Just in case you don't know the route, I'll be going through Chicago, Indy, Louisville (or Cincinnati), Lexington, Knoxville, and then Asheville. Let me know if you are along the way and would be up for a shopper. Figured I needed to make the gas worth it :)

If you happen to get lost and head south and end up in Milton FL give me a ring and I will show you how us floridians keep reef tanks. And even if you don't get lost it shouldn't cost much more than 14 godzillion dollars in fuel to come down this way.
Have a safe trip and stay away from flood zones.

Oh sure now you offer. I was just in Destin.
You've got an incredible zoa collection going (seems like overnight). Do you really find most of those at your LFS?
I saw a post from you of blue tubs (couple weeks ago) that looked liked they had some green highlights in the fringe. Was that just the pic or are maybe they blue orgasms still coloring up? Just curious because I have tubs and just got blue orgasms and they look like your pic.

alright since I got no takers onon house visits how about any good LFS along the way (already stopping by premium aquatics).

Hey reefer im in Louisville, there is a GREAT reef place here id love to show you. The name is aquatics. This guy has unreal prices, great selection ( if he hasnt been cleaned out.) and better prices. I went in there the other day and got a few corals, he was 100 corals short until his next shipment but had a few colonies of zoos. (mean greens, eagle eyes, hulks, and watermelons) 40+ polys for 45 bucks a pop. He also had a great selection of brains, fish, SPS, and my favorite the $10 $20 $30 and $40 dollar frag tanks with everyhting from neon trumpets, to shrooms, rics, FS, torches, and many other things i cannot spell.

More than happy to show you around, would let you see my tank but its not ready for the public yet

Tubs. From Grouper. Might be the reflection making them appear green. I don't know. Look about as Tubs as they come to me. Anyway, I have always had plenty of zoas. I had some posts sometime back about zoa rock building? Don't guess you saw it. I have collected them along with rics, just never made a deal about them too much. You know how it is, you get into a species more so than others but then a renewed interest arises. Still rics #1 for me though. Can only post so many pics and threads about rics though and I don't want to burn people out with them.
