I use the aquamend from HD. it was $3 and change. When you mash it up wet your fingers before because it will get all over your fingers. You cannot just stick it and expect it to hold but once it cures it holds nicely. I just place corals in area that they can stand for the 25 min working life of the putty. After that the putty cures, the coral is fixed in place

use rubberband to hold it in place until you are 100% sure it has fully cured. Then onces thats done remove the rubberbands and it should hold. There is a youtube video showing how to do it in and out of the tank. I dont know if i can post the link here.

This wouldn't work at all for me...I need a glue or putty where I can place my coral in the spot they are to remain. I think placing them in a temporary spot defeats the purpose.
