If you're dieting, you can make the shakes I do. I buy the powdered Capaccino mix that is sugar free. Put a couple of scoops of that, skim milk, and fill the cup with shaved ice. Blend it with a hand blender. Tastes just like the Starbucks Frappaccino's to me.

get some 100% whey chocolate milk mix powder (sold at gnc) and mix it with milk, and shaved ice. It's what I drink before and after weight lifting, and it tastes amazing

We used to take fruit and blend it with milk and ice. It is more like a smoothie. But use soy or rice milk and it is lactose free.

Does it give you energy when you start weight lifting?

I'd get a ton of different fruits and put it in the blender with some milk and blend it up. YUMMMMY!! It gives me a ton of energy.

Nope, but it makes it so that your muscles produce the lactic acid more, and your muscles grow back even bigger. (Because weight lifting tears the muscles, then they regrow bigger. Hints the term "he is ripped!")
Oh, and blue berries, with strawberries, then blend them frozen with french vanilla ice cream. It's delicious.

Don't drink one of these shakes if you are about to run though because lactic acid is BADDDDD if you're a runner. It's that burning sensation you get after a while in your legs, arms and lungs.

I make soy milk and banana shakes. That's all there is to it - a whole banana and ice-cold soy milk. The banana makes it thicker. Sometimes I use chocolate soy milk instead of plain.
My husband thinks it's disgusting.

Has your husband even tried it?? I remember thinking soy milk would be disgusting, but the first time I tried it I was amazed at how much it tastes like real milk.
But then again, my son (who hates milk) loves soy milk and my daughter (who loves milk) hates soy milk. Go figure

Oh Alix, black berries (if you like those) mashed up with a spoon, to leave some big chunks cover w/ milk and top w/ splenda. That's my favorite "sweet" on the planet.
And if I really feel like spending money, I through in raspberries, blueberries and strawberries!
But not in a blender, cause they all mix together and it's not as good.
