been there too. imagine that, but instead of track, yur running a 5k. did you do xc too? also, airforceman, which one are you in (marines or airforce)?

personally, just stretching and doing a good cooldown works fine. also, those pains accumulate due to poor warm up/cool down techniques. e.g. stretching before the warmup, waiting to long between warmup and run, taking too short a cooldown...)
