Yup......I've recieved conflicting info about getting it wet though.
i'm of the "wash it w/dial twice a day until after peeling" school of thought. it's worked for me, so far.

That's what I've been doing, and obviously I can't keep it dry when I take a shower, but some people have been telling me that it can't get wet at all right now.

you can wash it like 8hrs after you get it because you have to wash off the ointment as it can collect germs and dirt and dust. but when you take a shower dont scrub it too hard with shower gel/bar soap. only unscented dial thats wut i always use. with luke warm water and a open palm to get a lather2 or 3 times a day. then after 3days any unscented lotion.

Colors do not tend to look as good when it heals up. Right after it is done it is raised and you see all the ink. Afterwards the ink is underneath the skin. My tattoo artist always tells me to take the bandage off after a couple hours and wash with dial. Leave it for 24 hrs and then lotion lotion lotion with something like lubriderm that has no colors or scents. He told me specifically not to use A&D or any kind of ointment because it won't let the skin breathe properly and it takes longer to heal. You just wash with dial once a day after that when you take your shower to keep it clean. It has worked with my last 3 tattoos.

I like it alot. Its pretty real looking, not cartooney. And if you get any nemo references, just pinch their arm REAL hard, and soon people will know not to say anything about it! haha. I am thinking about getting a hobby related tattoo. Just not sure of what yet. Either of a coral shelf, or mabye one of my fave. coral???

Thanks. My goal was to have it NOT look like a cartoon character. I would like a frogspawn tattoo, but no one outside of this board would know what it is.

I also like the arm pinching idea....

Go to walgreens and get something called Aquafor (think I spelled it right) that thing will heal up in no time!
What is that? I've never heard of it. Is it for tattoos?

I would like to get a really pretty carnation coral, I would love a chalice coral i have, but there is no way they could capture the color of it, and it would look flat. If i get a reef shelf, my blue halimeda sponge will definitely be in it!

Ooooo that would be really pretty! I would love to get a blue linckia but I'm afraid it would end up just looking like a star.
