I've seen these small Brittle Stars advertised called MiniStars that aren't supposed to get more than an inch in size. Anyone know anything about them?:thinking:

I don't know what they look like....only read about 'em and was considering adding some to my nano due to their small size. What do you mean by "they multiply fast"?

they split using fission by splitting then growing back the missing parts and they do this often provided a food source they mainly graze on algae and are reef safe just some hitchhikers i have a couple

They're advertised as brittle stars so I assume you're pic is correct. Sprung says that they are harmless. He's not sure about the type you sent of pic of Logan :thinking:

If it's one of those pictured above, they are asterina stars. I have a lot of them under the rocks in my 135. They are good.

Well if its the one in the pic i have numerous ones in my tank and nothings wrong "Knock On Wood"
