try the economy miracle mud in the mail order catalogs. It works great.

Try calling Evelyn at Cordis Fish and Pet at 703-365-8966,. she is a dealer for the ecosystem and has mud in all different pounds and I'm sure she would send you some if you asked. I too have the mud system and it's great, you don't even need a protien skimmer. all is happy in my tank

Don't know, got it when I bought my filter. Just call, you have nothing to lose except a couple of cents. She has from I think 1 lb up... lucky for me she is only 10 mins away

Anyone know how much mud you need? I am setting up a 50 gallon main tank with a 20 gallon long refugium/sump.

I looked on website it says for 2 or smaller just use a 10 pound bag and every few mothes supplment it with 5 new pounds
