I am a new hobbyists and have a lot to learn. I had a tomato clown that is no where to be found. I have moved the rock and the only thing that I can come up with is that his anemome eat him. Is this possible? Thanks

I have a 125g tank, aprox. 140 lbs of live rock, 1 tang, 1 damsel, 2 fire shrimp, 1 firetail blemmy, 1 black urchin, 3 emerald crabs, 2 anemomes and snails. I have 4 power heads that have been checked and 1 skimmer that has also been checked. The clown always stayed close to the anemome except to eat and he has been gone for 3 days with no trace. His anemome was the only thing large enough to eat him. Thanks

You may have a mantis shrimp.
How large are the emerald crabs? They are oppurtune feeders. As they approach two inches they can eat fish if they can trap one. Also, it could have simply died and the crabs finished it off quickly.

The crabs are the size of a quarter and I have not noticed anything different about them. They live at each end of the tank and they rarely meet. Thanks for your help!
