missing clown

I noticed about 5 days ago that my clownfish that I have had for almost 5 years is missing. I'm sure it has died and is in the rock work somewhere but I can't find it. I noticed a slight odor coming from the tank and did a 30% water change 3 days ago. My readings now are nitrite:0 ppm. ph:8.0 ppm. ammonia: .25 ppm. and nitrate:10 ppm. I did not test the water prior to the water change.
Other fish are active and eating and I have another water change ready to go if needed. Should I tear apart the rock work again or continue with water changes?

Do you have corals? If so then it might be hard to move the rocks around. I would do it just to find him or your clean up crew could get him. Sorry to hear, five years is a long time, Great job.

Thanks for the reply. No corals. I will try again tomorrow to find him. I still have a skunk clown and a blue damsel from 5 years ago.
