Missing Gramma

Hello my sank has completed the cycle and i put in a Royal Gramma s my first fish. i put him in and he found a little i cave that i could barely see him in. Now 2 days later i have no seen him since. except for once while he was swimming in the back of the tank. Should i be worried that i haven't seen him in over 24 hours and can't find him anywhere? I don't know what to do about feeding him because he won't come out. I Acclimated him for a little over an hour with the drip method

Hiya,
If it was a wild caught gramma, I wouldn't worry yet. If it was a tank raise...yeah, I'd be concerned.
I bought a tank raised royal and the silly thing acted like he had been in my tank all his life. I always see him. He's never really picked out a "spot" to call his yet either.

Mine has been MIA for a week dont know what happed to him my first thought was he was hiding but it's been to long he might have been puffer food.

Don't worry. Ours did that, too. In fact, I think it took him a good week before he really started coming out. We could see the purple part of him poking out of a rock (I think he thought we couldn't see him!) and we knew that he was okay. We've had him for about 8 months now and he still hides in his cave if we walk by the tank too fast.

mine came up missing and i was told they can and will jump out of your tank. Never found mine inside or out of my tank though.
