Missing nudibranch

I recently bought a clean-up crew online. A nudibranch came with this particular package and he was cruising all over my tank after I acclimated him. Before I went to bed Wednesday night he had attached himself to the top of my tank on the front of the glass. I can't find him now. Could he have died? I can't find him anywhere. I've looked in the tank, behind the tank, below the tank, in front of the tank (yes, I like Dr. Seuss), but no nudibranch. My lfs told me today that they don't live long in captivity and since mine was pretty big, he probably was on his last leg anyway. Does that sound right? Should I try another one? :notsure:
Here's a pic of him:

Yea, I got him from there. I have an urchin, so there may have been some competition for algae among other things. I think the drs policy is to return the body, but I don't have one! So, I guess I'll just forget about it. Sea cucumbers are pretty cool....are those hardy?

Not too sure about cucumbers, I think the "thorny tail" something like that, ones are better. Also I've heard that the cucumbers can devour the sand bed of all that good stuff
But alot of sea cucumbers can release a toxin that can kill lots of fish! And are you sure hes not in the tank somewhere? May just be hiding or maybe he crawled out of the tank (not sure if they can do that) .

Well Dory, My old tank was a FOWLR, and I had bought a african red knob sea star that DRS had sent me, however they sent it to me with a bacterial infection and it ended up dying. I knew their body policy so I called them and explained my situation and they gave me credit for the amount that I had paid for it, minus shipping charges obviously, and I never had to give them a body, but that was probably because when sea stars die, they turn to mush, but I think the same is true with slugs, so give them a call, you might just get lucky as I did.

Exile, I had the same problem with some lettuce slugs. Cut some filter sponge so that it will fit over the intake of the powerhead, and any other intakes you may have in your aquarium. Everything still works the same.

Just got off the phone with the drs and they're going to credit my debit card!
They didn't ask for the body or a water sample! :jumping: We should split the cost Adam and have lunch...I'm hungry!

I have an aunt in Michigan, so the next time I'm up there I'll take you to lunch. My credit was for $6. Where can I take you for $3?

Ha! That's funny, Adam! :joy: I teach 7th graders! We can talk about what novels you're reading, your grammar, etc. My husband and my two sons can listen in total boredom!
