Missing peppermints....

I had 2 peppermint shrimp in my tank that were very social. They would always jump on my hand when I put it in the tank and would pick stuff off my hands. Anways...I have added 2 emerald crabs to help with some algae issues. Since I added them, my peppermint shrimp disappeared. Are emeralds known for killing them off? I need to peppermints also, to control any aiptasia. Should I try again, or will the crabs possibly eat them again?

They could be molting...or just hiding. I have cleaner shrimp and the peppermints I have never show themselves. So maybe they feel unsafe to be out in the open now.

I hope they are just hiding. or molting. I usually find their molts floating around the tank and I havent seen any recently. I have found a new little aiptasia pop up and those 2 usually keep them in check. I hope you are right about them hiding.

Lol, I will be very very sneaky tonight. I have looked in every crevice I could and didn't see them. I am sure they were on the other side of the tank "laughing" at me. Ugh, I will hunt tonight. =)
