This is so funny
. If it doesnt have a huge hole in it you could try selling the damsel to a lfs.

yeah, and maybe it would be worth more since it has a strong survival rate!

I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but that is not so nice what you did. You bought that fish and was it used to cycle your tank??? You have had to remove your wrassie as well? Perhaps you should research your purchases before you buy. That YT won't be happy for long in your split tank. What will you do then? Again, I am sorry if this sounds rude, but that is just so wrong. You couldn't have just dropped a divider and moved your rock?

the damsel is on the one side and my other tankmates are on the other....
why couldn't you just catch him?

Hey Sep. if you see above, I tried for at least a month to get him out - bottle trap, plexi glass divider, netting for hours, etc. With 120lbs of rock and all the coral, just wasn't able to take it all out - I tried moving a bit, but just couldn't take it all out. The damsel was what my LFS told me to get first after my tank had cycled, being that it was a hardy fish - to make sure the tank was stable, I had already cycled the tank with LR - NOT with the damsel. The damsel did well, so I then got the YT - my LFS said it would do fine in my tank. Knowing all that I know now - Yes, I would have done things differently - I would have NOT got a damsel at all and NOT have gotten the YT to begin with. Thanks to SWF and the advice from those like yourself, I have learned a ton since then.
Concerning the YT - he is already back at the LFS, even though he did great in my tank for 8 months, I went ahead and returned him - he was a bit of a bully as the damsel was.
Concerning the CW - according to SWF, they are reef safe - so I thought it would be a nice addition. Now I have found that they sometimes can pick at coral - sometimes getting fish can be a hit or a miss - I'm sure you know this also. Unfortunately this one was a picker. Anyway, I've learned a lot and yes, I do research quite a bit - I'm looking up something almost every day. Anyway Sep, I don't want to come across in the wrong way - I do appreciate the advice that you give us all here on SWF.
