mixing cardinals

I started with 2 PJ cardinals because they weren't expensive and I was totally new to the hobby. Now I have a little more confidence in the tank and I would really rather have Bangaii cardinals. The PJs are pretty mellow and the Bangaiis look to be close in temperament. My gut reaction is not to mix them, but I wanted to check with all of you guys and see if anyone has tried it and what the results were. I couldn't find a definite answer in any of my reference books. The PJs will be a little bigger than the Bangaiis if I get them. Haven't made up my mind yet, just doing the groundwork. if the tank is large enough and hase sufficent rockwork, yes you can mix these 2 species. I've seen banggais drive off pyjamas, but in the wild banggais share space w/ many cardinal species

75 g with about 80-85 lbs LR, with a few hiding spots. Anybody else with ideas?

I have 2 pajamas and 1 bangaii in a 90g, never had a problem
